The Nail Spa Review
It's 2:30pm on Tuesday it is my day off and I am currently sitting in a massage chair and sipping an iced latte while I have a pedicure.
My nail salon of choice is The Nail Spa at Westfield Stratford City and now on my fifth or sixth visit I am finally getting around to writing a review.
I have had pedicures at several places over the years, bit this is the only place I have come back to time and time again.
The place is very tranquil, pale plaster with green accents and light wood fixtures with plants dotted around adding additional greenery.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, offering you a complementary drink (soft drinks only), ensuring you are comfortable that you know how to use the massage function of the chairs and that the water temperature is to your liking.
The pedicure treatment itself is comprehensive; feet are soaked, hard skin is removed with a pumice stone or a chiropodist razor for particularly bad or stubborn hard skin, your feet are then scrubbed, massaged and moisturised. Nails are trimmed, filed and buffed, cuticles are removed and your nails are painted in your choice of colour.
You can then relax and continue to enjoy the comfort of your massage chair whilst your nails dry before leaving with revived, refreshed and rather pretty looking feet.
The treatment I have is the signature pedicure, which is their mid range offering and costs £34 although other options are available.
You can book appointments in person over the phone or online
