Karl Largerfeld + Model Co Eyeshadow Palette

OK, before we start I should warn you that I am a sucker for packaging! I know it is just packaging and we should be focused on what’s inside, but be honest we all like something that looks good.

So when I saw this pallette I really wanted it but just couldn't justify the £48 price tag. So when I saw this on Cult Beauty 70% off I decide to go for it.

You get 16 different colours in the palette and they are a mixture of mattes and shimmers, some have a fine glitter running through them which will appeal to your inner magpie.

The shadows have a good payoff with very little fall down, and the glitter in the Shimmer shades is a subtle sparkle not an in your face glitter ball.

They lasted quite well through the day with minimal creasing. Overall I was impressed with both the selection of colours and the quality of the shadows and the cute packaging definitely adds to the appeal.

Although I do love the packaging, since this was originally priced at £48 I would have expected better quality. The second time I opened the pallette this happened

This is a product from a designer, and considering this was priced at almost £10 more than the Urban Decay naked palette I would have expected better than double sided sticky tape to hold the mirror in place.

For the discounted price it’s a nice palette that looks cute on your makeup table, at full price save your money and head over to Urban Decay.
